Targeting question? - Guild Wars Forums

I looked through the hot key list and couldn't understand how to attack a called target. Meaning how do I attack a target that has been called out by my ally? TIA guys!

PS: I did a search but cound't find an answer specific to my question.

You can also press the little icon that apear next to the caller name in party window.. Then you just need to use skills or press space bar to attack.

Is THAT what that icon is that keeps coming up

Since release, I have never seen the "Press T to target" message. Only saw it in beta. I only see "I am attacking ****" and the assist target box shows up next to the person's name.

It's true, on the box or whatever it shows the full "I am targeting XXX! Press T to select my target!"... HOWEVER in game, it does not. I really question why they removed the "Press T"... perhaps it didn't fit the "roleplaying" or immersion factor but that doesn't excuse them. I think it's crap and I know it has confused a lot of players out there.

It doesn't say it in the manual. I don't know why either.

Plus, it no longer says 'Press T to assist!' any longer. I think it still does if you use ctrl+shift+space in which case it says 'I am targeting X, press T to select my target.' (Although I don't remember seeing that either in the last couple days... maybe it got changed too.)

I think the guy writing the manual/tutorials just assumed that everyone played Beta or something.
